How Do I "Block" a User from Accessing the Site?

If there is a user that originally had access to your backend website, but you no longer would like them to have access, you will have the ability to "block" (disable) the user. This lesson will show you how to do just that.

Select the user you would like to block.

Select the user you would like to block.

Find the user you would like to block and move your mouse to the right of the row. You will now see a drop down menu that has a downward facing arrow. Clicking on this downward facing arrow will display another option to "Delete" the user.

Click on the "Delete" option.

You will now be presented with a prompt that will ask you if you want to "DELETE" the user from the system.

Click "DELETE" to confirm your choice.

It is important to note that you will not be "deleting" the user from the system, but are merely blocking the user from gaining access to your backend system. If the user tries to gain access to the system, they will be prompted with a message alerting them that  "The name and/or password you entered is incorrect."
