This lesson will show how to use the "Visualized Data" sub-section to display visual graphs of your data.

How To Graph Your Data

Step 1: Select a Graph Name:

The "Graph Name" will allow you to select from a drop down list of available "canned" graphs. Simply select the report you would like to generate.

**NOTE: The graph names, as well as the explanation of the available reports, are displayed at the end of this lesson.

 

Step 2: Select a Date Range:

Please select a "Date Range" for the time period that you wish to have your data graphed.

You will have multiple options to select from:

  • Today: Display all data that is relevant for today's current date.
  • Last 7 Days: Display all data for the last seven (7) days worth of data.
  • Month to Date: Display all data for the current month (to current date).
  • Year to Date: Display all data for the current year (to current date).
  • The Previous Month: Display all the data for the entire previous month.
  • Date Range: This option will display a calendar and allow you to be selective of a date range. Simply select a "Start Date" and an "End Date" then click "Done."

 

Step 3: Select "GO"

After you have completed the previous steps, the website will then display the graph of your choice.

Incident Info Graphs:

  • Incidents By Location: Display all the incidents for a given time period and place their locations (geolocate) on a google map.
  • Avg. Response Times: Results are found by averaging "ArrivalTime" minus "DispatchTime" from the ePCR.
  • Avg. Response Time by Units: Results are found by averaging "ArrivalTime" minus "DispatchTime" of each "Unit."
  • Avg. Response Times by Crew Type: Results are found by averaging "ArrivalTime" minus "DispatchTime" of each "Type" (ALS, BLS, Heli).
  • Avg. On Scene Time: Results are found by averaging "LeftSceneTime" minus "ArrivalTime."
  • Avg. Total Time at Hospital: Results are found by averaging "AvailableTime" minus "AtFacilityTime."
  • Avg. Total Incident Time: Results are found by averaging "AvailableTime" minus "DispatchTime."
  • Avg. Total Incident Time by Crew: Results are found by averaging "AvailableTime" minus "DispatchTime" of each "Type" (ALS, BLS, Heli).
  • Avg. Total Incident Time by Unit: Results are found by averaging "AvailableTime" minus "DispatchTime" of each "Unit."
  • Total Incidents by Jurisdictional Station: Results are found by displaying a total incidents for a given time period by "JurisdictionalStation."
  • Total Incidents by Type: Results are found by displaying a total incidents for a given time period by "RunType."

Transport information Graphs:

  • Contact Made To: Will display the total (SUM) of all hospitals that your department has made "Contact" (B. Contact) within a given time period.
  • Protocol Most Used: Will display the total (SUM) of all protocols that your department has used within a given time period.
  • Facility Most Transported To: Will display the total (SUM) of all hospitals that your department has transported (Rec. Fac) to within a given time period.
  • Facility Most Diverted From: Will display the total (SUM) of all hospitals that your department has diverted (MAR) from.
  • Total AMA's: Will display the total (SUM) of all AMA's that your department has had within a given time period.
  • Transport Via: Will display the total (SUM) of all patient transports that your department has had within a given time period. The results will be displayed by categorizing the results according to their "VIA" (ALS, BLS, Heli, No Transport).
  • Transport To: Will display the total (SUM) of all patient transports that your department has had within a given time period. The results will be displayed by categorizing the results according to their transport "Trans To" (Transport To).
  • Transport Reason: Will display the total (SUM) of all patient transports that your department has had within a given time period. The results will be displayed by categorizing the results according to their transport "Reason."

Patient Information Graphs:

  • Male vs Female: Results are found by averaging "Sex" for all patients within a given time period.
  • Average Age of Patient: Results are found by grouping the average "Age" of all patients within a given time period.
  • Average Patient Weight: Results are found by grouping the average "Weight" of all patients within a given time period.
  • By Distress Level: Results are found by displaying the total (SUM) of all patients within a given time period. The results will be displayed by categorizing the results according to the patients "DistressLevel."
  • Total Patients by Chief Complaint: Will display a total (SUM) of all patients and categorize the patients according to their "ChiefComplaint."
  • Total Patients by Mechanism of Injury: Will display a total (SUM) of all patients and categorize the patients according to their "MechanismOfInjury."
  • Total Patients by Special Circumstances: Will display a total (SUM) of all patients and categorize the patients according to their "SpecialCircumstances"
